I Wish

This is a poem that I wrote a year ago and just came across. I thought that I’d share this with you! I don’t usually write poetry so this is one out of the two poems I have ever written. I generally write book reviews, so I hope you enjoy this for a change!

I wish I could see more fully, 

the beauty in the galaxy

The beauty of a proud tiger,

or even a simple silky feather

The beauty of a ballet dancer,

as she waltzes in her ruby slippers

The beauty of a gust of wind,

as it spirals picking up leaves in it’s way

The beauty of mistakes,

that cluster our world.
